    GVP is employed to generate Pure Steam, in Pharma and Biotech industries, it’s suitable for SIP-sterilization of equipment components like tanks, preparation vessels, piping systems, filling machines, filters as well as for humidifying clean and cleanest rooms where steam is needed in WFI quality. Pure Steam is available at over 121°C and it has to meet the same requirements as WFI all along the production cycle and during storage. 

    GVP is fully customizable; designed and built in accordance with cGMP standards and using only FDA standard approved materials. GVP produces saturated and pyrogens-free Pure Steam compliant with USP and EP guidelines.

  • Principle of Operation

    Pure steam generation is based on natural circulation principle. Due to density gradients between cold feed water entering the evaporator and already heated one by plant steam, a natural circulating flow is accomplished without any additional energy consumption. After entering the evaporator and releasing its latent heat (condensation heat) to the feed water, by evaporating the latter, plant steam is completely condensed. The condensate is drawn off by slight over-pressure and returned to the plant steam system. To remove scaling particles (mainly silicates), feed water is subjected to continuous blowdown removal. This insures very high efficiency ratios of 92-95% of pure steam generated out of feed water.
